How would you define love:: Chemicals, just chemicals, but they're sure as hell fun chemicals! I've always wondered if being in love feels the same for everybody. I like to think it doesn't.
What makes you unique:: Well, I have a pair of vagina-shaped earrings? I can crush Treetop apple juice cans between my shoulderblades, and I am the singular title-holder of the position of "Gay Greeting Committee" in Jackson, MS.

Music
If you had to live with one cd for the rest of your life, what would it be:: Dar Williams' The Green World
What cd is in your cd player right now?:: Jayhawks' Rainy Day Music
Use a lyric to describe yourself (be sure to mention who you're qouting):: I've never had a way with women, but the hills of Iowa make me wish that I could
And I've never found a way to say I love you, but if the chance came by, oh, I, I would
But way back where I come from, we never mean to bother,
We don't like to make our passions other people's concern,
So we walk through a world of safe people, and at night we walk into our houses and burn [...]
Once I had everything, I gave it up for the shoulder of your driveway and the words I never felt,
But for you, I came this far across the tracks, ten miles above the limit, and with no seatbelt--and I'd do it again
For tonight, I went running through the screen doors of discretion
For I woke up from a nightmare that I could not stand to see:
You were a-wandering out on the hills of Iowa, and you were not thinking of me, from "Iowa" by Dar Williams
Use a lyric to describe your current mood::
Pretty little hairdo
Don't do what it used to
Can't disguise the livin',
All the miles you've been through.

Don't look so sad, Marina
There's another part to play
Don't look so sad, Marina
Save it for a rainy day.

You neve make your mind up,
Like driving with your eyes shut.
Rough around the edges,
Won't someone come and take you home?

Waiting for a breakthrough,
What will you set your mind to?
We stood outside the Chinese restaurant
in the rain "Save it for a Rainy Day" by the Jayhawks

Random
Say something, anything:: Oh, shit, I just beat a hard-ass game of Spider solitaire! Shitshitshit! How great is this.
Random photo (optional)::

Beat it! Beat it! No one wants to be defeat-eh-ed.

Opinion
Political status:: Liberal. I'm not registered with a party, but I almost always vote Democrat, except in Louisiana, when sometimes Democrats are Republicans in disguise and Republicans are Libertarians in disguise.
How do you feel about war:: I don't know what to feel about war. I think if a country's going to send out troops, troops should be equipped. I think that the USA hasn't participated in a just war since WWII. My thoughts are scattered on the subject, but I'm passionately against US troops ever invading Iraq.
What's your opinion on..
abortion:: I am one-hundred percent in favor of women's reproductive rights. If you haven't been in the position to have to choose, shut the HELL up.
death penalty:: Passionately against. Too many instances of innocents being killed, not to mention it's impractical and doesn't promote a culture of healing.
drugs:: I'd like to see decriminalization eventually leading to legalization and regulation of recreational drug usage. I'm not sure how to create an effective plan to do this, but I am hopeful that doing so will reduce gang violence and needless murders.
same sex/interracial marriage:: It's not even a question to me. My sister and her girlfriend of ten fuckin' years should be able to make those rings on their fingers mean something legally. And I definitely don't have a problem with interracial, intercultural, interreligious, or interanything else marriage.
religion:: Is irrelevant to my life in most cases. I identify as culturally French Catholic, but I'm non-practicing. I enjoy mythology and ritual as much as the next guy, but I'm not big on having another body governing my actions and watching my every move.

Word Association
Love:: HURTSSSS. D'ja know Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris actually covered that? Yeah. I know. And they managed to make it bearable.
Cool:: Runnings.
Poseur:: FAKE FRENCH!!!
Sky:: Cotton
Grey:: Mush
Music:: "is my soul. Yeahhhh. That's good; that's deeeeep."
Dance:: DISASTAHHH.
