Memorial Day Weekend...
...has not been that eventful thus far, not gonna lie. Productive, however, it has been indeed.
Friday, I had class all day, then costume boot camp for crew, then I sang at a 50th birthday party with my acappella group (SO random) and we got paid $250! Legit! We've never been paid before so it was kinda nice.
Saturday I went to crew for how many hours? Oh, that's right FIVE and I was needed for how many quick changes? Oh, that's right NONE. I did a load of laundry consisting of smelly unitards at the end and that was about it. What a waste of my life that I will never get back. But it's ok cuz I went to Jerry's and ate strawberry shortcake after and missed my own cast party for Mukashi Mukashi lol. Sad times.
Today, I woke up BEFORE my alarm went off. amazing. Had brunch w/the roomies and then practiced my scene for acting with only 1 of my partners. We're doing No Exit and I'm playing Estelle. Both of my partners have kinda bad reps. as actors among my fellow classmates so that's not so good. But I think it'll work out fine. Although the other partner gets back late tomorrow night and we need to be ready to go w/costumes, lines memorized, and props Tuesday morning. HA. Oh, silly acting...What a joke that class is.
I just went to the gym and jammed on the elyptical to 42nd St. and Songs for a New World. I feel so good after working out...I should do it more often. OH and I finally hung out w/Ben Nyugen today after promising to all year lol. We went to Red Mango and Chipotle (fatty status much?) and it was quite delightful. I'm glad I got to catch up with him.
Good Lord, I've been typing non-stop. If I could write essays this fast, my life would be bliss. I still need to finish history hw and my stupid lighting plot project for intro to lighting...gross. And pointless. And ridiculous. Oh well, that's TFT for you...only 17 more days till Fremont, kiddies!!! YAAAAAAAAAY.
And then I can dive into summer madness :D
Too bad those 17 days are going to be semi-hellish.
