Good Grief

Haven't updated in awhile. Why, you ask? Oh that's right because my life is a living whirlwind. But a good one...

Spring Sing happened on Friday. Lionel Richie and Janice Dickinson were there. AMazing. Our performance of Spice Girl Medley went down as well as it could. Scattertones won of course (the amazing group), Bruin Harmony 2nd (entertaining and charming boys...what can ya do?) and we got...wait for it...BEST PARTICIPATION! Good Lord, what a joke. We laughed so hard. But I'm over it. We performed for 5000 people and I had a blast.

My mommy flew down yesterday to see my show, Mukashi Mukashi, at the Geffen. REally exciting and fun. We performed for Saturday Scene which is a kids program every Saturday. Groups from all around perform, and the kids were adoooorable. It really made me miss Starstruck when we talked to them afterward. Now we have more rehearsal this week cuz we're adding on more to the show by next Saturday when it goes up again. Boy, oh boy.

This week was hell. Between my history midterm, rehearsal and stage-building for Spring Sing, and rehearsal every night (at the same time) for Mukashi, I'm amazed my voice isn't gone. I got to sleep today and do some much-needed history reading.

On the boy front: The guy that I've had a fat crush on since first quarter? His friend has definitely caught on that I like him and I'm feeling some major awkwardness and spillage of feelings this week...maybe, maybe not. Who knows. I'm so done being the innocent freshman girl who sits around awkwardly at parties and has no juicy boy stories. KLASJFOIWJEOF WHY CAN'T I BE SCANDALOUS?! That's ok. I like my morals. And my complete lack of boy experience. I think that's why I'm so busy. So I don't have to deal with relationships and screw them up and be awkward around guys. Cuz that is indeed what would happen. Ok, I'm done.

Love to all. 5 more weeks at UCLA and then I come home to summer madness!!!!
