[It'd be a lie if one were to say Eridan didn't have feelings for Karkat and even if it wasn't exactly pale in it's leanings, they were still there. Hearing what Karkat had to go through did pull at his cardiovascular system a bit and made a knot form in his throat--honestly in a way he pitied Karkat for the situation he had been put through.
