sick bastard, part 2
I don't know how many of you remember (I'm guessing only Liz and Keely), but a while ago, I posed the question of whether or not stray dogs and cats would follow the smell of a burning carcass in a dumpster (a la Boondock Saints) and eat the body. Disturbing question, yes, I get it.
But anyhoo, I was just watching the beginning of a Law & Order episode (thinking it was SVU.... turned out to be CSI) and a dog ran off from its owner into some bushes. The owner ran after it, and found other dogs eating a corpse.
So, strays have no aversion to eating human corpses. This much we know. Well, at least according to Mr. Dick Wolf. So I'm going to take that further and say that strays would eat a barbequed human corpse.
Again, nothing definitive until I do some field research this summer.
