Home Free?
So I'm not moving to Hull, because the only place we could find that would accept my roomy's giant dog was more than Asia wanted to pay. I found this place in Vanier (the good part, near New Edinburgh) that's 3 bedrooms and $825/month. Dee's 95% sure she can move in with me, and I'll post adds around campus for a 3rd person. This is delicious! It's a 5 minute bus ride from campus, it's a pretty nice place, I'll be able to keep Bailey, and Dee and I will be such fun roommates! I filled out the application and gave a deposit for last month's rent. One other person applied, but they didn't have a check, so unless something awful happens, I'm pretty sure the place is mine. Things are looking up. I just need to start packing my shit together!
I'm looking forward to my life in two weeks. True, I'll have started school. But even that doesn't seem so bad. My courses seem interesting, even though there will be a lot of work. I'll be settled in my new place. I'll be closer to downtown. Things will be fine. I hope. Unless, of course, I don't get the lease. So prey to all your gods that I'll get this apartment!
