Ok so that's it for the stuff I've researched just now in July that I am especially interested in (I know there is more), BUT I also have an important choice to make. I'm asking for advice here, guys.
SHOULD I:
a) See DAFT PUNK!!! and the Rapture in Keyspan Park in Coney Island on Thursday, 8/9 at 7 PM for $45 a ticket (ouch!)
OR
b) See THE HOLD STEADY @ the Prospect Park Bandshell the same day at 7 PM for free?
I love Daft Punk but I also love the Hold Steady. My roommate suggested since I am now employed I can afford to splurge once in a while. Also I haven't lined up anyone to go with for either yet. I also am not sure how often either play here but I am betting that Daft Punk touring is a lot more rare.
