well on this day in history in 1954 Elvis Presleys first single was released by Sun Records it was "That's All Right" but it was with out "Blue Moon of Kentucky." ive barely started to scratch the surface of any kind of understanding on what that man has actualy done for the world....elvis the pelvis....it makes me wonder sometimes did sun recordeds know what elvis would come out to be....now i know its a stupid question of course they didnt beacuse if they did they wouldnt or dropped him off the label in 1955 for being so sexual... does anyone really understand what they find when they find it. Did Louis and Clark really understand the significants to what they were doing..finding the west for those of you who dont know. When they go to that beach in California and looked over the water to a sun that was slowly but surly rotating around this earth did they have the least bit of any idea that what they had just done would get there names remembered forever. sometimes i think we were ment to find something, not beacuse its exciting or it will bring us fame and good fortune, but beacuse as people we lack the sensibility to really comprehend what we just found. now the money and the excitment of finding something for the first time is a good thing, dont get me wrong. but somewhere at sometime we actually discover the discovery. Speaking of this tomorrow will be that day that Neil Armstrong first steped foot on the moon. Once again it makes me think when he mumbled those words a million miles from home...did he know that it would be taught and in the minds of everyone in the USA for the rest of forever. "this is one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind" everyone knows thats saying, who said it, and where it took place. Go out in the world everyone find something that you can call your own anything but just think about what you found. dont waste your time thinking about the fame it will bring you, but think about the more deeper thought of it all...what will this become.
hope ive left you something to think about
