Waking up to find himself alone in the room, JungMin blinked blearily to clear his vision, looking around in a daze. Yes, he was alone, he confirmed. In HyunJoong's room, it took a moment to re-orientate himself since it hadn't been that long since he'd been discharged from the infirmary properly.

Where was HyunJoong? Sitting up slowly, JungMin carefully eased himself back against the headboard. He couldn't remember, the older man had been here when he'd fallen asleep...

It took him a moment to spot the note lying on the bedside table, leaning over a little to pick it up. JungMin's lips quirked slightly at HyunJoong's scribble of an explanation; he'd probably known JungMin wouldn't remember why he was gone when he woke up. Reading that he was in a meeting, the redhead sighed and placed the note back down.

How long ago had the meeting started then, and how long would it be before HyunJoong got back? The redhead pursed his lips, glaring down at his legs. He wanted to go look for HyunJoong, or at the very least take a shower, but he could hardly move as it was. If he fell over, he was stuck.

Giving a slightly frustrated sigh, JungMin started doing his simple exercises instead, kicking off the blankets enough so he wouldn't tangle himself in them.

Everyone moved out of the way when they saw HyunJoong storm through the hallway on his way to his room. The pure anger was rolling off of him in waves as he desperately needed to get to JungMin, the only person in the world capable of calming him down after the hell he just had to deal with.

The bastards had continued to make him feel guilty until it was hard not to feel so, but as long as they left KyuJong alone, he didn't care.

Finally, he had reached his bedroom. Opening the door and walking inside, he closed it behind him and leaned against it, eyes closed, not yet noticing that JungMin was, in fact, awake.

With an aggravated sigh, HyunJoong slid down the door to the ground, legs outstretched and head back in an attempt to calm down.

Looking up when the door opened, JungMin blinked owlishly at the older boy. "...Hyun?" It was obvious something was up.

And HyunJoong was all the way over at the door. JungMin pursed his lips before swinging his legs over the edge of the bed, carefully getting to his feet. "Hey, what happened?" Arms out for balance, he wobbled and shuffled his way over to where HyunJoong was at the door, glad it wasn't too far away.

Jumping when he realized that JungMin was awake and trying to walk over to him, HyunJoong brought his arms up for JungMin to take when he reached him. Easing the redhead down into his lap, HyunJoong found himself wrapping his arms around JungMin, holding him close and letting his boyfriend's calming presence wash over him. "Stupid geezers crossed the line, is all," he mumbled, voice muffled by JungMin's shirt as HyunJoong buried his face in the younger boy's chest.

"What happened?" JungMin frowned, wrapping his thin arms around HyunJoong's neck and running his fingers through his boyfriend's hair. "Want me to zap them for you?" He hadn't seen HyunJoong this badly worked up in a while.

HyunJoong let out a quiet chuckle at the threat. "I might take you up on that when you're back to full power," HyunJoong said before pausing. "One of the council's informants was caught last week. They found his body, tortured. The meeting was called to force Kyu to travel back to a week ago and if not rescue him, kill him," he finally explained, feeling his anger returning. He pulled JungMin closer.

He took a moment to think about whether or not he wanted to ask the question on his mind, but he desperately needed some reassurance at the moment.

"Min, do you think I'm a bad leader for refusing? Saving him could protect a lot of people, but I chose not wanting Kyu to get hurt."

"...Am I really no better than they are?" he asked quietly. After KyuJong had left, that had been all he had heard as he defended his decision until he finally had enough and walked out.

JungMin looked down at HyunJoong, lips pursed as he listened to the older boy speak. He could see the doubt in HyunJoong's eyes.

When HyunJoong was finished, the first thing JungMin did was reach up and rap him off the top of the head.

"Since when do you listen to a bunch of old farts? They want you to think you're a bad leader, remember?" He poked HyunJoong in the stomach. "Just because I'm handicapped doesn't mean my ears stopped working. Everyone here follows you because you think of them as more than just numbers. You take their safety seriously, and you don't make decisions like that lightly. Everyone here would follow you to the end of the earth, why would they do that if you were just like a hunter?"

Yelping lightly as the rap to the head, HyunJoong looked up at JungMin. Blinking as he spoke, HyunJoong had to smile. This was his JungMin. The redhead may not be running all over the place speaking a mile a minute, but he didn't care in the least.

"Thanks, Min," he said, wrapping an arm around JungMin's neck to pull him into a kiss, savoring the feelings that he got whenever he was with his boyfriend.

Returning the kiss, JungMin was thankful that he could do this much now at least, fingers twining into HyunJoong's longer hair as he tilted his head to the side.

"Have I told you I think you look absolutely hot with long hair?" he mumbled against HyunJoong's lips.

Chuckling at the comment, HyunJoong nipped at JungMin's lower lip. "No you haven't. Have I told you that I think you look absolutely hot, period?" he returned.

"I think, two years ago," JungMin grinned. "Might need to refresh my memory." He deepened the kiss at the light nip, lips parting after a moment as his eyes closed.

Deciding that he could always tell him later, HyunJoong returned the kiss, running his tongue over JungMin's lip before searching out the redhead's, sighing as the kiss deepened. He had missed this; just relaxing with JungMin in his arms, not a care in the world. When they were together, HyunJoong had no responsibilities to anyone other than the redhead.

JungMin was pretty sure RyeoWook wouldn't count this as breathing practice, but JungMin was quite happy to call this his favorite kind of practice. Tongue pressing against HyunJoong's, his fingers kneed lightly at the back of HyunJoong's neck. Breaking away every now and then to breathe, he always came back for more, desperately missing the contact.

HyunJoong moaned into the kiss, returning it with just as much passion as JungMin was giving. He always made sure to pull away enough to allow the redhead to breathe, but he had never come across a more difficult challenge before, the heat of the moment driving him on.

A low whine escaped JungMin, trying to pull himself closer in HyunJoong's lap. If it weren't for the risk of a coughing fit he wouldn't even be trying to breathe, enjoying the kisses far too much to care.

When he finally had to pull back for more than just a quick draw of air, the younger boy dropped his head and panted against HyunJoong's neck, placing soft kisses against the skin.

When JungMin pulled away, heavy breath and lips both hot against his neck, HyunJoong couldn't suppress the shiver if he tried. Not that he would, of course. He wanted JungMin to know exactly what he was able to do to him with just a simple touch, much less the intimacy they shared.

"Hmm, I'm sure we'd be more comfortable on the bed, don't you think?" HyunJoong murmured, slipping his hand beneath JungMin's shirt to lightly run over his back.

JungMin drew in a shaky breath, quivering slightly at the hand against his back. Over two years since they'd done anything remotely like this. "Probably," he murmured, pressing another kiss to HyunJoong's neck. "But you got me down here and now I don't think I can get back up." Nor did he really have the motivation to try, occupied with his task.

"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I made you walk all that way?" HyunJoong chuckled breathily. Removing his hand from JungMin's back, he brought them both down to arrange JungMin's legs around his waist before slowly getting to his feet, hold secure on his boyfriend before making his way to the bed.

He eased JungMin down before leaning down and kissing the younger boy again, arms on either side of JungMin's head to keep himself up.

Keeping his legs around HyunJoong's waist the best he could, JungMin returned the kiss enthusiastically, arms around HyunJoong's neck to pull him closer. He didn't care if his body was still weak, it had been far too long since he'd felt anything like this and he wasn't giving it up for anything. One hand trailed down HyunJoong's back to slip under the back of the older boy's shirt as the redhead moaned softly into the kiss.

As JungMin pulled him closer, HyunJoong eased himself down to rest against the redhead, making sure to not place too much pressure on his chest, before he returned the kiss, letting out a moan of JungMin's name as he felt JungMin's hands against his heated skin.

JungMin pressed his palms against HyunJoong's broad back, panting against HyunJoong's lips before returning to the kiss again. His legs were slowly falling away from around HyunJoong's waist, unable to keep them up in that position for very long, and the slow friction of their jeans rubbing together made a frustrated noise escape his throat.

At the sound that escaped from his boyfriend, HyunJoong finally drew back, lips mere centimeters from JungMin's. Hearing JungMin and seeing him reduced to such a state with he himself not far behind, HyunJoong just continued to stare. "God, Min...what do you do to me?" he murmured. He didn't want to move, but if he didn't, he didn't know if he had the strength to stop. The only reason he was able to was the constant worry of pushing his still healing boyfriend.

Panting against HyunJoong's lips, JungMin stared back up at the older boy, fingers pressing against HyunJoong's skin. He didn't want to stop, completely ignoring all the reasons why they should, starting with the fact he was having a hard enough time breathing as it was. Though that could just be attributed to being kissed senseless.

"Whatever it is doesn't seem to be working good enough, why are you stopping?" JungMin protested, tugging the older boy back down to try pressing their lips back together.

HyunJoong relented at first, allowing himself to be pulled back down. After a few light kisses, reality set in, much to his annoyance.

"I'd much rather it be me who makes you breathless rather than your current condition," he panted lightly before running his lips down to press into the redhead's neck, focusing his attention there, his lips and the light nips leaving a mark on his boyfriend's neck.

Anything JungMin had been about to say was lost in a low moan, the redhead tilting his head back to give HyunJoong more room. "I'd like that too," he groaned softly, closing his eyes. "Hyun, I don't want to stop," he whispered.

Blinking at the whisper, HyunJoong found himself freezing. Pulling back, he moved back up to look JungMin in the eyes. He couldn't deny that it was getting harder and harder to be around JungMin at times, but his health was far more important.

But JungMin didn't want him to stop.

Lifting a hand, HyunJoong ran it gently down JungMin's cheek. "What do you want, JungMin?" he asked softly, needing to know and wanting to hear it from the young man beneath him.

Opening his eyes slowly, JungMin's chest rose and fell as he breathed a little unevenly, controlling his breathing like he'd been shown to prevent a sudden fit. His arms around HyunJoong weren't holding on very well, and his legs had fallen back to the bed, but his eyes held the strength his body lacked.

"What I've always wanted," he replied, pronouncing his words carefully to avoid slurring them. "You."

HyunJoong's eyes widened, stunned at the response. It was impossible not to tear up since he himself had wanted the exact same thing. Hesitating, HyunJoong placed his free hand on JungMin's waist, just beneath the shirt he was wearing. "A-are you sure?" he stuttered, unsure of what to do for the first time in a long time.

"If I wasn't sure, we wouldn't be in this position. Just because I'm handicapped doesn't mean I can't kick you off the bed." JungMin smiled up at the older boy, white teeth showing as he ran his own hand slowly up and down HyunJoong's back. If they were careful, he would be fine.

Taking a moment to think, which was getting increasingly harder to do with JungMin looking at him like that and with his hands against his back, HyunJoong finally gave in. Leaning down, he slowly kissed his boyfriend, the hand on his side slipping up and bringing JungMin's shirt up as well.

Returning the kiss happily, JungMin made a soft noise at the hand moving farther up his side, squirming a little to try and help get his shirt up. At the same time he pulled HyunJoong's own shirt higher, breaking the kiss to pull it over the older boy's head.

Once both of their shirts were off and dropped to the floor, HyunJoong's eyes took in the beautiful sight of his boyfriend's bare upper body before shifting down, pressing his lips against the middle of JungMin's chest, remaining there for a moment before slowly working his way back up, focusing on JungMin's neck before returning to his lips once more.

Carefully, his hand moved downward, finger lightly tracing invisible lines just above the waist of the redhead's jeans. He paused for a moment before slowly dipping his finger past the waistband, heart racing like it never had before.

Soft noises escaped JungMin as he returned the kiss, shivering at the finger against his skin. He couldn't believe they were actually this close, some part of him wondering if HyunJoong would even want to attempt anything with a cripple.

That thought promptly left him at the finger that dipped under his jeans, and JungMin moaned lowly, trying to arch up against the older boy. "Hyun..." His hands ran along HyunJoong's body, fingers trailing along his chest and flat stomach.

HyunJoong shivered against the fingers trailing over his body before he finally pulled away to breathe, letting JungMin do the same. Another tremor ran through him at the sound of his name coming off of JungMin's lips as it had. Slowly, he brought his hand to the front of JungMin's jeans and shakily began to pop the button and slide the zipper down slowly before gently sliding the pants down JungMin's long legs, unable to stop himself from caressing the younger boy's thigh as he did so.

Trembling a little, unable to do much despite how much he wanted to, JungMin drew in a shaky breath at the touch of cooler air against his legs, cheeks turning a light pink as he realized he was only in his boxers now. His eyes locked with HyunJoong's as he reached down to fumble with HyunJoong's own pants zipper, willing his fingers to cooperate this time. After a moment he was able to get the zipper pulled down.

Feeling his pants fall loose around his hips, HyunJoong let out a choked sound. They were really doing this. It wasn't a dream brought out of minutes and nights and months of loneliness. JungMin was real and felt so good against his own bare skin. He was far too thin, but HyunJoong still felt that the young man beneath him was the most beautiful person on the face of the earth.

He wasn't very sure as to what he was doing given that he had never slept with anyone, and once JungMin had been taken, he had never once even considered it an option in curing the loneliness. Nerves a bit on edge, HyunJoong met JungMin's eyes to make sure he was really all right with this.

Trying to push HyunJoong's pants down, JungMin noticed the look in HyunJoong's eyes, blinking a little as he looked up at his boyfriend. His heart hammered in his chest, the point where HyunJoong's hand had just brushed his thigh burning. "You okay, Hyun?" he whispered, reaching up with one hand to lightly touch the older boy's cheek and jaw line.

"Nervous," HyunJoong murmured, tilting his head into the hand resting against his cheek. "And I don't want to hurt you," he confessed after a moment.

"I'm not worried about you hurting me," JungMin's lips quirked, and he pulled HyunJoong down enough to kiss him. "If I could get through that intense make-out without losing a lung, then I can take this," he murmured against the older boy's lips.

Listening to JungMin, HyunJoong finally released a small smile before returning the kiss, hand that wasn't now in JungMin's hair stroking the redhead's thigh gently. He continued doing so before pausing momentarily, only to finally move his hand even higher, slipping beneath the boxers to caress the sensitive flesh of his upper thigh.

HyunJoong gasped at just how amazing JungMin's skin felt against his own, something he craved more of.

A loud moan escaped from JungMin, swallowed by the kiss. Whispering his boyfriend's name again, tone growing increasingly pleading, JungMin pushed his legs a little farther apart as his fingers played with the edge of HyunJoong's boxers.

HyunJoong's breath caught as JungMin fingers played with the edge of his boxers, moaning as the redhead's hand would brush over the sensitive skin at the same time. Unable to take much more and needing to desperately feel JungMin, HyunJoong carefully moved his hands back up to the waistband of his boyfriend's boxers, hooking his fingers and slowly easing them down. Every inch of the redhead that was revealed to him stole a bit more of his breath and sanity.

They had to be careful; just because they were finally getting what they both wanted didn't mean JungMin's body was fully recovered. But a while later they were finally curled up against each other, and there hadn't been a single fit. JungMin ran one hand slowly against HyunJoong's chest, sharing light kisses with his boyfriend and waiting for his heart rate to slow down.

That had been better than anything he'd ever felt before, and though he was pretty sure walking was going to be even harder than usual tomorrow morning, quite frankly he didn't care.

HyunJoong was positive that nothing in the world could be any better than the feeling of his boyfriend - his lover - against him and surrounding him in every way imaginable. Shivering slightly whenever JungMin's hand would run over him, he lazily returned the kisses, keeping the redhead as close to him as possible. He never wanted this moment to end.

"You okay, Min?" he asked, breath warm against JungMin's lips.

"Never been better," JungMin whispered, tasting HyunJoong still. "That was amazing...no wonder Kyu and Saeng were like bunny rabbits in school." He smiled against the older man's mouth, trying to shift closer which wasn't really possible. After a moment he opened his eyes again, looking into HyunJoong's.

Meeting JungMin's eyes, HyunJoong smiled, bringing a hand up to stroke the red hair before coming to rest against his cheek, thumb lightly brushing the skin. "Amazing doesn't even begin to cover it," he replied quietly, more content than he'd been in years. Watching JungMin, there was something tugging at him that needed to be said, but he paused to consider if now would be the right time to speak.

JungMin's smile widened at the hand against his cheek, leaning into it a little. "No, it really doesn't." He blinked slightly at the expression on HyunJoong's face. "You okay?" He brought his arm lightly around the older man's body, resting their foreheads together.

Hesitating, HyunJoong tilted his head enough to brush his lips over JungMin's before speaking. "When you and Saeng were taken, I kind of fell apart. I didn't know what to do without you here," he told him, closing his eyes before continuing. "I swear, Min, I have never in my life felt anything remotely like this before..."

He didn't know why it was so hard for him to admit to JungMin, but he wanted to let him know exactly how he felt.

Watching HyunJoong and listening to what he was saying, JungMin's expression softened. "Like this?" he whispered, one hand reaching up to run through the older man's long hair. He didn't know what to say, not sure where HyunJoong was going with this.

"I suppose I'm trying to say I love you, you dopey redhead," HyunJoong replied, blush lighting his cheeks.

Blinking, JungMin stared at him before turning the same color as his hair. "S...Serious?" He hadn't expected to hear those words, ever. At first, he'd been convinced no one would even want to try being in a relationship with him after being labeled as mentally unstable, even if the issue with his electricity could be worked around. Then he'd been captured, and he hadn't been so sure he'd be alive to hear anyone say that to him.

Staring at his boyfriend, JungMin's lips quivered before he broke out into a wide, happy smile, kissing HyunJoong. "I love you too, crazy."

Grinning into the kiss, HyunJoong wrapped an arm around JungMin's shoulders, deepening the kiss. Pulling back when the need for air became too great, HyunJoong chuckled. "Who's the crazy one in this relationship?" he teased, poking his side lightly. There weren't enough words in any or all languages for him to explain how ridiculously happy he was at the moment.

"I'm crazy, but you're even crazier for loving a crazy person, so you," JungMin grinned widely, twitching at the poke. He could never get tired of hearing that word, he decided quickly. Kissing HyunJoong over and over again, JungMin managed to lift one leg enough to tangle it with HyunJoong's, limbs shaking. "You're going to be my ride everywhere tomorrow, right?" he laughed, burying his nose in HyunJoong's neck.

Trapping JungMin's leg with his own, HyunJoong pulled away enough to press his lips against JungMin's neck and shoulder before moving back to kiss his hair, curling up around him, completely content. "Of course I will be, Min," he murmured.

Smiling like a happy fool, JungMin nuzzled against HyunJoong and closed his eyes. He drifted off completely exhausted, but couldn't remember ever being so happy as he did now.

When JungMin fell asleep, HyunJoong continued to watch the redhead, unable to keep the smile off of his face. He still couldn't believe that they had just slept together, let alone confessed. It was what he had wanted so desperately and after two years of being apart and so much changing, they were together in every sense of the word.

Closing his eyes and holding JungMin close, HyunJoong fell asleep, completely content for the first time in years.
