First of all, you wrote ChenYeol!! ♡ I would have been happy with anything, but CHENYEOL...! Bless youuuu! :3
Also, you chose my favourite prompt! :D
I was really surprised, since it seems to be quite a handful, but I'm sooo glad you did. You incorporated tinges of actual magic, but left it at that, which made the atmosphere very casual. One could almost forget that Yeol was actually capable of using real magic, until he'd subtly incorporate it into his daily life.
To be honest, throughout the whole fic I was just enjoying this fresh, unique atmosphere.
Chanyeol was such a sweet little oddball - I loved him. He wasn't silly and completely casual (but stubborn!) about practicing magic. Every scene about him trying to protect Baek was hilarious. I actually quote a few parts to my friend, one being the part where he bemourns the amount of lighters he needs, and the other being to protect Baekhyun from people who make awful decisions (like going home with him).
Jongdae was pretty interesting, and definitely weirder than Chanyeol on so many levels! *haha*
He was more mysterious than Yeol, too, and I was always on edge when he appeared, cause his actions were rather unpredictable~
I was all smiley when they did kiss, and Yeol got all desperate while Jongdae insisted on talking about lucky charms instead.
Overall, I liked the sage burning, drawing charms and burning rice paper in general :D
(boy, phoenix Chanyeol is back, and he likes to burn things, what a surprise)
I was all with Yeol when he was hurt, and glad to see a glimpse of his life with Jongdae. Especially that he seemed to have found a lot more friends than just Baekhyun (not that Baek wouldn't substitute for ten people)
Lastly, I'm happy you had people telling you to just do whatever you want, cause that's exactly what I would have told you, as well ♡
Hopefully, you had at least a little fun writing this odd prompt - I'm infinitely grateful you decided to do so ♡
Thanks a loooot! ♡♡
(what do you mean, 'too many hearts'? There won't ever be too many hearts! :D ♡♡)
