Hello sweeties! It's already this time of the year, time for our beta event once again (and Christmas)! It's a very simple event, as many of you may know, but it's always important to read the rules again as some may change from a round to another! This is open for everyone, those born in English speaking countries and those who weren't, but if you feel confident to help, please join us! Let's go GO!
--How does it work?
+ It starts with you, offering to be a beta reader! Join us by filling out the form and commenting - comments are screened, don't worry! (What is a beta reader? A beta reader is a non-professional reader who reads a written work, generally fiction, with the intent of looking over the material to find and improve elements such as grammar and spelling.)
+ I'll be following the order of the comments to find the beta reader (if the pairings match for both the beta reader and the writer, the first one that listed that pairing will get to beta first!)
+ This event is anonymous! Meaning that me, the mod, is the only one that'll know who are the writer and the beta reader. I'll assign a fic to the beta and when they're done with the fic, they simply need to email me back with the new file and I'll email the edited version to the writer so they can check it themselves and then they'll email me the final draft.
+ Neither the writer or the beta reader will know their identities.
+ The writers that want a beta reader can start sending their finished fics by email to me! See the forms and calendar for more info!

--Rules
+ Even if you're a beta reader, please don't comment about the fic you're beta reading in your social medias! It's still an event and something to keep as a secret~ the mod thanks you in advance!
+ Please no criticism about the fic you beta-ed! This also works for the fics in general, when the postings start, please don't comment with criticism (even if positive, because this is supposed to be a fun event for everyone and specially for the participants! Be careful with your words, not everyone likes it!) and no mean comments! The mod is counting on you to make this fun for everyone and thanks you all in advance again!
+ This beta event consists, at first, of only correcting the grammar (misspellings, changing to synonyms,...), but if your writer allows it, you can edit the fic (correct sentences, things regarding the tenses, etc.)
+ The beta reader doesn't need to be in the exchange, it's even better like that! But if you do want to participate and you're in the exchange, feel free to do so!
+ Any questions regarding the fic you're beta-ing, please email me at yeolliepopday@gmail.com!
