Renewing, faith.
It had finally dawned upon me that I am blessed. I may not be the wealthiest girl in school, not the prettiest, not the smartest. But this is what God gave me. Not trying to act all holy here, but I'm just trying to type all of these little feelings I'm feeling now and look back sometime. There had been times when I strayed, strayed away from God. There had been times I told God, 'No, I'm never going back to church again, I don't even know if you exist' I can imagine how much pain God feels when I actually said that to him. Now I'm back with him, determined to follow him, learn from him & love him all my life. Which leads me back to Baptism, Confirmation & Holy Eucharist! Yes, I'm getting baptized this Easter! Isn't it just awesome? Next week's the Rite of Sending, followed by Rite of Election! There's 55 more days to Easter Vigil. 55 more days to becoming Katie Emmanuelle Yeo!
Anyway I realized that Ash Wednesday clashes with OAC I have to fast on Ash Wednesday howhow. It's either I pon the whole entire camp (which is highly possible cuz of my ankle but I wanna see _____) Or either, I substitute 10th of March for Ash Wednesday fasting and abstinence. Or either, I go ahead and fast on that day, since that day we're breaking camp too! It's hard, cuz the Church has no policies on the 'substitution method' (freaking reminds me of math) Hmm, so what do we do.
