Something struck me as funny tonight. People are always talking about peace on earth and good will toward men. Little insight y'all. NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Well at least not until Christ(you know...the reason for the season) returns. In fact, it's only going to get worse. That's right...the world can and will get worse. It's a sad thing I know. But there is good news. See we can avoid all the pain and suffering. Pretty much Christ is the coolest dude ever.
Did you know there is meaning behind the candy cane? Yes indeed there is. A candy maker wanted sometihng that was reminescant of Christ. The cane shape? Shephards cane, or upside down it's a J. The white? The purity of the soul as a result of the blood shed...which is the red. I don't remember what the twist or peppermint mean, but that's just more proof that even if you don't think Christ is in your home...OH he is!!
Last night was the basic Christmas party and it was MAD fun. After Field Block I needed to let loose, and there isn't a better place. They really are the glue that holds my limited sanity together. It's such a blessing. An amazing gift. It's been a good week.
