A tribute.

To Ginny:

You were a good dog.
You were a dumb dog.
You annoyed me.
I didn't get you.
You tried to eat my hair when you were a puppy, so I had to stop sitting on the floor.
My dad picked you out cause you were the first to jump up to him. Little did he know you would continue to do so long after you were the size when it was appropriate, only stopping when the arthritis in your legs prevented you from doing so.
You were a big dog.
You were all wrong.
But you were a good dog.
Just because you would wheeze and always try to lick my hand if I wanted to pet you on the head meant I didn't pay much attention to you. But you only did those things because you were weird and you loved me. And my dad and my mom and my sister.
My dad always said you had a really great nose. My favorite story was when he pointed in one direction for you to fetch a downed bird and you ran in the complete opposite direction because you could smell that the bird had only been wounded, and had crawled a far way away from where it fell. And you brought it back proudfully and dutifully to my dad's astonishment.
Ginny you retarded fool, I will miss making fun of you.
You were a good dog.
