Guess what came in the mail today? :D
I GOT IN! I GOT INTO COLUMBIA!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
"Dear Ms. Neagle:
I am pleased to inform you that you have been admitted to Teachers College, Columbia University beginning Fall 2005. You have been accepted to the Master of Education degree program in the Department of Counseling and Clinical Psychology, with the specialization Psychological Counseling."

Yeah, so I actually applied to the PhD program... but "the Committee on Admission feels that admission to the Master of Education degree program is more appropriate at this time." Eh, and maybe it is. I probably don't really need a doctorate to do what I want to do, though it would be fun to be Dr. Lacey ;) Perhaps later.
So, beginning sometime around Sept. 2, I will be a masters student in New York!! I wouldn't believe it... I just couldn't let myself believe it until I got the letter. I wanted to so badly, but I would have been utterly crushed if it had all been a mistake. It still feels like a dream, but I can finally start to believe.
And now to commence with the bouncing and the grinning my face off :D :D :D :D :D
