Scream my lungs out trying to get to you.

Why is it so hard to let go? I just don't get it. It is so easy to meet new people and befriend them not knowing that you are building a new relationship that will eventually end, nothing lasts forever. Sad to say this, but not even marriage. It's so sad for the single world to read the statistics and find out that 60% of marriages end in divorce, and that men and women both have a 50% rate of cheating.I have been dealing with infidelity for awhile now. Not myself, thankfully, but everyone around me. Is it really that hard to let go of a person when you've cheated on them? Why can't the cheater be honest and tell their significant other that they have cheated? If you truly care about someone enough to invest time, money, effort etc., then why not be honest with them and deal with the consequences of your actions? Is it that we are attached to the other person or do we truly love them? Is it a security issue? I believe it all boils down to how much respect we have for ourselves. If you can stay with a person knowing that they have cheated on you, then you are risking everything into that relationship. The trust is gone and trust is a BIG deal . It takes so much more time to regain the trust of another person, then it takes to lose it.We should respect ourselves and say enough is enough! Don't settle for less. Don't be with somebody that hurts you. Don't depend on someone else for your happiness. Only you can make yourself happy.Let go and let Karma play it's role. If you have been sincere and honest with the person who has done you wrong, time will bring you someone that you truly deserve and vice versa.--
