Last Night of Writing Class

May 14, 2007 17:27

I've been taking a seven-week short story writing class, and tonight is my final class. I've learned a lot about the craft of writing, as well as how to market my stories when the time comes. When I began the course, I was hoping that I would have a completed story in my hot little hands by the end of the course. Unfortunately, all I have is a few ideas and a couple of outlines. It's impossible for me to write during the week (I've tried; it doesn't work), and my weekends have been busier than usual. I've decided not to teach summer school this year, so I've got the whole summer to work on my writing.

Whenever I do get a story finished, I'm going to need some feedback prior to sending it off. I guess I'll post it to the journal whenever that happens.
