If there is a point to this, please tell...........
So I think someone is being unfair to me Lol.............
As a leaving gift from work (I miss all of them and my Saturday morning snacks!) I got a lovely box of choccies (they know me too well hehe) and a £15 gift voucher for HMV (yet again they know me too well :D). So HMV are kind of crafty, they don't allow their gift vouchers to be used for online purchases (meh!), which means I have to take a trip into town (and I really despise the town I live in, a short shopping trip there always makes me want to kill people!). So yesterday I went into town to get some other things, and have a much needed Starbucks (uumm Frappaccinos!)....and as I was their I figured I would take said voucher (well its actually a gift card, hence so annoying that it can't be used online!) into HMV and get some goodies (maybe add some money too it and get Heroes?!?). So as we walked in there were these signs up saying that they can only take cash transactions today! I was like WTF! so I double checked with a staff guy and he was like 'Yeah someone cocked up and now the computers are all down'. Blah!
So last night Dad was like as you have to go to supermarket and get wine (yummy hehe) you may as well pop into HMV and spend the gift card. Soooo I get all ready, go into town, get into the shopping centre (this the part where i start to get pissed cause well I HATE the town I live in and well the shopping centre is the most awkward and stressful place ever!) walk to HMV, and well those damn sign about they can only accept cash transactions are up still! I double check with staff member again, and yeah its true! I thought in this modern technological age they could at least get one computer working to accept card/gift card transactions, but no! Seriously I think someone does not want me to shop and get nice things for ME!
On an up point I got the wine (and it was on half price offer!). So tomorrow I go to my Australia travelling partner's house for an afternoon of Shrek (1,2 & 3), wine, takeaway and chocolate! Uuu I'm excited!
