Tzatziki

Tzatziki is so much more delicious when it's homemade.

Ingredients:
Greek yoghurt or just plain natural yoghurt
Lebanese cucumber
Garlic
Lemon juice
Salt
White pepper

To make:
Grate whole cucumber. Place in a big bowl.
Put about 5 heaped tablespoons of yoghurt on paper towelling to soak up excess moisture. Add to the big bowl.
Squish 3 garlics (with a garlic press) into the bowl.
Add the juice of one lemon.
Add a pinch of salt.
Add a teaspoon of white pepper (can use black pepper, white pepper just 'hides' in teh white colour of the yoghurt more.
Stir. Taste. Change/add any ingredients till you are satisfied with the outcome. Eat up.

Best made a few hours before serving.

This recipe makes a lot, so adjust the receipe to suit the feed. :)

It lasts for a few days. Is great in sandwiches, on plain biscuit, as a dip for chips, with vegetable sticks such as carrot and celery.
