[Litchi, on her way back from the grocery store, just kind of stops and stares, stunned, at the sight of her housemate just flying around like this.

...Obviously, she missed something this morning before leaving.

Have a stunned blink.]

D-David...? What in the world...

[yellowthirteen]

[Before he registers Litchi's presence down below, he pulls off an impressive maneuver in the sky, resembling a figure 8. Though during one of the loops, he managed to catch sight of his housemate, and upon exiting the maneuver, he banked around to land next to... him.]

[guychi]

[...Okay, that was pretty impressive. Soft chuckle.]

...Well. I suppose one of us had to be the lucky one with all these experiments, hm?

[yellowthirteen]

[He can't resist giving a smile to that.]

Guess so. Never imagined something like this might actually happen.

[guychi]

[Male body aside, Litchi's subconscious habits persist -- she tucks some stray hair behind her ear, smiling softly.]

It must be nice. I... know how much you've missed flying.

[yellowthirteen]

[There's not much concealing the happiness in his voice.]

I have, I won't lie. Guess it's something of an addiction.

[He pauses when he sees Litchi carrying groceries.]

Let me give you a hand with those. I'll walk you back home too.

[guychi]

[The happiness in his tone is making it really difficult not to smile like a total idiot. She tries to hide it by glancing down at the grocery bag.]

Oh, these? It's really no trouble, but... I certainly won't turn down an extra hand.

[The gentle teasing slips out before she can remember that it's awkward right now, given her current body.] Besides, I can't say I'd mind the company, either.

[yellowthirteen]

[...It.. is a little awkward. But honestly, he's not really bothered much by it. Maybe he would've been more so in the past. But if anything, he knew that it was Litchi, so...

He'll take a couple of those bags now.]

I'd be lying if I said I minded too.

[guychi]

Ah... thank you. [Relieved of the extra weight, she straightens up a little bit and gives him a smile in appreciation.]

Are you sure you don't mind? I'd hate to take up your time; heaven only knows how long this experiment will last. [She'd feel terrible if that flight thing wore off while she's hogging his attention, after all.]

[yellowthirteen]

It's not like it's the only good thing I have going. I live with some great people. I'll take that over some superpowers that only last for as long as some guy in a lab says so.

[guychi]

[Light blush. She knows full well just how much it must mean to him to be able to take to the skies again. For him to willingly take time from that just to help...

She muffles a soft, sheepish cough against her shoulder.]

I promise I won't keep you long, in any case. [Tempting though it may be.

...Although she probably shouldn't say that out loud.]

[And why shouldn't she?]

As long as you'd like me around, I don't mind. Come on.

Of course I like having you around. Really, I appreciate the help.

[She'll just tag along here, then.]

It's strange, isn't it? Most experiments don't last two weeks. Wonder what's going on.

[guychi]

I do wonder. [Wry smile.] All I hope is that I can get back to my usual self soon.

[yellowthirteen]

How've you been adjusting to that form? Can't imagine it's easy suddenly flipping genders like that...
