(no subject)
well, i think it was the flu but i'm better now. i was so tired just from getting up to get a drink, which is a sure sign something's wrong my system.
we went to see spongebob last night. it was....spongey. it was pretty good,but i was disappointed they gave sandy such a small part. i think we were the only people there who didn't have small kids in tow. i know not that many people over 20 care for the sponge but it was fun.
i'm looking forward to next weekend. i desperately need some time away from the T. dot and its mocking me of my lack of free time and energy. it's easy to be lazy in ohio. i fit in nicely there. i'm planning on getting some much needed lingerie from victoria secret. there are no bras in canada that fit me as well as their bras do. i might also grab some casual shirts. i have lots of shirts and sweaters for school but nothing that fits into casual weekend clothes. then again, i feel like when i'm in toronto, i need to dress up to go grocery shopping. i must confess, i miss the casual living of southwestern ontario.
i'm going to get some brushes and such today at canadian tire. i'm wanting to paint this week. if i push myself today, i can get all my lessons done for the week and then i can spend nighttime painting my living room and such. i'm dying to get shelves on the wall, my cd racks up, and some bookshelves from ikea.i'm hoping to have my party in december but i want the house ready.
i made a shadow box last night for my nanny. i think she'll like it. it's all about the wedding. micheal's was having a major sale so i bought a ton of gift making supplies. i also made a wreath last night, and some candles.
we're making gift baskets for our friends. we're putting in all sorts of things but i can't say too much here....some people might find out early what we're doing.
we're making picture and music cds for family members, plus some scrapbooks for our folks. i've never scrapbooked before and i have no idea what i'm supposed to be doing. maybe i'll just make more shadow boxes.
it was pretty easy.
i better go and wash clothes. fun, fun.
