And so CNY is finally over! initially i thought its going to be the worst CNY EVER. but i guess things kinda turned around after the first few days.. so it wasnt that bad! in fact, i had lots of fun visiting a record breaking number of house this yr! :)
Here's a summary.
Of cos, first up! with my family and all the relatives.. ! :) (btw,meyer has his angpow too. tee hee hee)
Then it was to River angpow and chinatown with the uni gang for countdown!

Tina' house! BBQ and load of gamblers!
but I went to my starhub lao ban, Catherine's house, to pai nian and get some ang pows too!!
next day it was to Aiping's House! Edward's House! Sebas's House! and then final stop to my House!! hahaha yes, that many houses in a day again.
and the next day, it was my house again for steamboat with the same sec sch gang! :)
and on the very last day of new year, we head down to jasmine's house to do a final Lou Hei!!
SEE. i told u it was a record breaking no. of houses right. :)
i always get this idea that when i'm married and have my kids, i'll make sure i'll bring them to all my friend's house and make CNY as re nao for them as possible!! it'll be so fun! rather than just going to 2 relatives house and cny is over and done with. right right! haha. okay i think too far alr.

So first stop, to my grandpa's place!

my dad and grandpa. Any resemblence to me? hahaha grandpa is so cute. he actually made funny faces at the camera. haha and Yes, here are the true blue paranakan side of the family... very baba, nonya looking faces and tan skin. thats why i'm so dark!! it runs in the family. heh
oh and the first picture below is so funny. both my aunties trying to turn my dad's face to face the camera. haha. oh and they call him Kor kor btw. i thought it's really sweet!

and our family photo! as u can see. every year, we wear either colour coordinated clothes or clothes under the same theme. and we always take a picture at the same place, same position. hahaha

here are those spent with friends...
went river hong pow and chinatown with the usual to soak up some CNY atmosphere!. and before that we were at marina sq catching toys!! aubrey was the hero of the day. he caught 3 giraffes and gave it to all 3 of us. tee hee hee.
we wasted a few one dollar coins throwing it into this well thingy.. and i swear chinatown is damn crowded. HOT, HUMID + alot of ppl. omg. worst combo. but it was fun. :)
Then either day 3 or 4 it was visiting with all the FPA ppl. shane's home first..
then it was Shu ying's home. where she made sushi for us! (speaking of which, im having a craving.)
then it was to my house.. (and meyer won everyone's heart over!)
then it was to Diana's house for louhei and some drinks!
firstly, her house is damn big. 2ndly, her house got alot of nice cars. 3rdly, it seems like there's a winery right below her house cos her godpa literally drown us with free flow of wine. and lastly, she has 6 freaking dogs!!! i wish i had 6 dogs too. hahaha (oh and her dogs looks like tissue box. hehe. damn cute)
okay, next day its to catherine's house (my lady boss when i work for starhub)
. and seriously, baby gwen is so cute!!!!!!!!!! she'll steal many hearts next time haha.
then next day the uni gang usuals had BBQ and lou hei at tina's place.
it wasnt long before more ppl came to join us.. all adr and tina's course mates. all of which we know from school too... and it was fun! i like it when there's alot of ppl. haha and i won $30++ that night! wee!
then i went visiting to all the seconday school peep's house. after which they came my house to gamble. and i won $70!! hahaha huat ka lao sai.
but seriously, in between is such a scary game. especially when the pot grows to about a few hundred dollars..everyone starts to pee in their pants!
we ended about 4am.. but next afternoon we met up again at my house for steamboat lunch! haha happening right... cant seem to get enough of each other!
and so that concludes everything. its a long and boring post. but ohwells. just so i remember. :)
