Trying to get my brain to understand Pre-Calculus is like trying to fit a square peg in a round hole. I literally grasp 10% of the subject matter, which renders me rather helpless to complete homework assignments or be prepared for next week's test. I've seriously considered dropping out of school permanently (three classes left to go) because of this class. Heaven help me.
In good news, the tickets I spent nine months accumulating through MSN's Club Bing (www.clubbing.com) for an XBox, which were useless since they did away with the XBox prize when I had a mere 8,000 more tickets to go, earned me a completely free two-person inflatable kayak, which I sent away for today.
Also, I just purchased two tickets to see Tegan and Sara in February, thanks to an early presale. It's two days before Katy's 21st birthday so it will make an awesome birthday present. Excited!
Sarah's getting married this weekend! Hard to believe, she's been with Mike for 8 years now. I'm dateless to the wedding (long story) but looking forward to it nevertheless.
Dead-set on going on a cruise in January. Almost put down a deposit, but decided to wait a day or two. At the rate things are going, I will either desperately need it as a way of celebrating making it through Pre-Calc, or drowning my sorrows as a result of not making it through Pre-Calc.
Lastly, thanks to Discover Card, without which I would not be able to afford a cruise or the Tegan and Sara tickets (since I don't get paid until tomorrow). I depleted my savings on new tires and the Nashville trip, so here's to ever slowly climbing out of debt at the risk of living my life well. Yeehaw.
