so the ever-unfolding story comes with a rewrite. it's now definite that my family's moving back to west palm beach. they're gonna find a nice lot in the acreage and build a 2-story 5 bedroom house. that should be nice. my parents have realized (reluctantly?) that i can lead a life on my semi-own for 4 years and i will hopefully be in a dorm or apartment soon. my dad is aware that my mom can't let go of her insecurities of me (she still thinks i'm a child) but he knows better than to hold on. i know it's for sure now because dad's already called our realtor from west palm and he's contacted his old workplace asking if the position he left is still open. it looks really good.. i think everyone would be happier over there.
while all that goes on, i'll be living in a dorm.. and frankly, i don't see a problem with that. maybe mom does, 'cuz after all, she was the only one that had a problem with me driving alone with my grandma this weekend to west palm. i'd have to drive those 200-some miles every month to go see her. sorry mum.
