Yesterday, I got the notification that my claim for Social Security Disability was denied. Today, I spoke to an attorney’s office. They are calling me back tomorrow. SSA’s claim is my disability didn’t exist in 1996. Uhh… hello, you stupid morons, you purposely ignored the copies of the records I sent you from the hospital I was in during that time. According to the lawyers, even though the SSA says it ok to send copies of your medical records they will request them anyway. Which part of I have the records in my possession to keep them from being returned to the records center in St. Louis did you miss? I notice that they didn’t have copies of the records from 1995 or 1996 when I was an inpatient on their list of… “This is what we used to determine you are ineligible” either. Government bureaucrats, save money for them so they can spend it on bounced check fees for Senators. Umm.. yeah… right. I decided to go straight for the lawyers instead of wasting any more time. This battle started in 1997 and I’m done with the BS.
I don’t have too many issues with my son lately. EH… his room could be better, but he has been good about helping haul laundry baskets and such that I can’t always do on my own anymore.
I’ve been collecting the Lord of The Rings cards, all three sets. A friend and I have been trading. I found a trade center for the old I.C.E. Middle Earth CCG. Woohoo… I never thought I’d get close to finishing that set. I’m still logging cards. I almost have the spreadsheet filled in. If any Ljers on my friends list are collecting either of these card sets and want to trade, let me know.
I’ve been writing again. It helps to vary the stories. Keeps the mind going.
