I have this list of things I should do or said I'd do and never got around to it. I really should do that at some point. I should write that list!
Let's start with this. I should be cleaning my house and or shopping today, but I'm here am parked on my fanny. Simply put, I don't want to go over there alone. Not sure why, I just don't. Maybe, I need to ...

Alrighty then. We did the Wal-mart run and things are just now unpacked. I was going to check the outer section of the Garden Center, but it was locked up already. Usually, the inside door is open and the gate is locked. They are remodeling the place and it's somewhat unsettling to be wandering around lost in what was once familiar.
For some time, Kevin and I have had a "Let's fix, replace, or otherwise improve this in our house" list. Saturday, we took another step toward improving/repairing both the house and yard. Now, I like getting out in my yard and puttering about. I like caring for the things I planted out there. However, this year, partly thanks to that wonky patio door, my poor flowers in the back were badly neglected, hence why no pictures.
Monday, they are coming to measure for the door between 2 and 3. I had originally wanted French doors as a replacement and Himself said no, so we picked out this:
The really attractive feature for me was ... mini blinds INSIDE the window panes. No cleaning needed and no more fussing with the vertical blind that seems to like going stupid. The two sidelights open for air flow. However, when we went to order it, we discovered that the door as shown is too wide for the current opening. So, guess what we are getting? Ayup.. most likely French doors. However, they DO have those mini blinds built in! WOOT, I can live with that! Once they measure, we'll have full options. I'm tired of not being able to open the dang door from the outside. There's little to grab hold of!
Anywho...
On my list for Monday? Clean house, pay State Farm and our CC bill. I'd say write, but that's a secondary to the rest.
Need to get a full home improvement/repair list together. You know, those projects that should be done and get left behind for one reason or other? Like ... painting? Also need to make a list of more personal projects like holiday crafts and such. I should have finished up several projects by now, bu I procrastinate and apparently have an issue with... "ooooo lookit that, shiny!"
