I saw "Make Room for Daddy" in reruns. Mostly, I remember him as the spokesman for St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Something from an episode of "Make Room for Daddy" stuck with me.

Danny and his TV daughter, Kathy, were having a discussion about her getting married. He said something about a man's daughter getting married to a man who is not good enough for her to give her father granddchildren that are better than everyone.
