Thursday's Thoughts

12:30AM Roadrunner is wonky tonight.

I'm about half way through All the Remains, For those that like crime novels, Cornwell does a good job of it, most of the time.

So, I spent last night stitching since my ISP went wonky. I got about half of one of the ornaments done. I should have it ready for mailing tomorrow. It's been a while since I did anything that was on the smaller scale cloth. I prefer using the color coded patterns, but I'm now equipped with magnifying eye glasses and a magnifying glass with extra hands to help read the muddled symbols.

Half of my workstation is now serving as a craft table. It is, perhaps, the most comfortable place in the house for me to work.

I've been doing some jewelry pieces of late. I suppose I should have taken pictures, but the only thing I thought to photograph was Tyler's quilt.

Stitchery has gotten harder on my eyes over the years. I used to be able to stitch for hours, but now, I need a break in between. The lighthouse ornament, using the parts from a kit by NeedleMagic, Inc., is coming along nicely. I still have five out of 11 colors to work on plus backstitching.

During the day, I can open the blinds in my office. Natural light is better to work with.
