Federal prosecutors are charging a Las Vegas company with making more than 300,000 telemarketing calls to consumers on the national do-not-call list.

In the Kidnappers Beware. Dept
A judge Tuesday found a homeless man competent to stand trial in the kidnapping of teenager Elizabeth Smart, after the man's lawyers decided not to contest the issue.

While having the guy stand trial will be a sense of closure for the family, they are one of the lucky families that has been reunited with their missing child.

BESLAN, Russia - Armed militants with explosives strapped to their bodies stormed a Russian school in a region bordering Chechnya on Wednesday, corralling hundreds of hostages - many of them children - into a gymnasium and threatening to blow up the building if surrounding Russian troops attacked. At least two people were killed, including a school parent.

Please, don't go off about the kids in Iraq, I've seen the pictures of children that look 10 and up learning to use AK-47s or some other machine gun. They may be brain washed into doing it, but eventually, they get old enough to understand. It's not that I am unsympathetic to the kids in Iraq, I am.
