This was sent to me by a friend a few years ago.

Red is for the blood He gave.
Green is for the grass He made.
Yellow is for the sun so bright.
Orange is for the evening light.
White is for the grace He gave.
Black is for the sins we made.
Purple is for the hours of sorrow.
Pink is for the new tomorrow.

An egg full of jelly beans, colorful and sweet,
is a prayer, a promise, is a special Easter treat.
