So over the past week or so, I've gotten my advisor the final-ish draft of the paper we're working on (finalish on my end; he's completely rewriting it though), put together a poster for the BioX "Imitating Life" symposium (and went through about three iterations of that with the advisor too), put together a presentation for labmeeting, and did a presentation plus a bunch of matlab code/plotting for the bioengineering class I'm taking. I now feel the urge to throw up at the sight of xfig, matlab figures, or anything involving the use of \includegraphic. But on the bright side -- no more presentation (and my how I suck at oral presentations when there's actually nontrivial physics to explain)!
And, also, I finally finished knitting my sweater! Time to knit a sweater = approx. two years or the equivalent of two extremely boring lecture classes. It's a bit on the too-short and too-wide side but sufficiently sweater-shaped that I'm going to declare it a success for my first attempt at pattern-reading. Here's a picture:

I'm going to go feel all accomplished and reward myself with a work-free evening now. Weee...
