This is insane... the person doesn't surprise me that much though. I knew there are crazy people around. The city behavior also seemed reasonable -- what do you do if you have crazy person -- you ignore him, maybe call a doctor.
What puzzles me is why judge didn't throw the case out given this level of arguments... I mean, if I don't like something, i can just sue? I think i am going to ask to close Lincoln and Holland tunnels leading to Manhattan for all cars. I don't think they have done adequate study pertaining the level of asthma in NY when they opened them.

There's probably some overly generic law about how anybody can call for an 'overview' of the impacts of any new city project or something and the city has to do the review, ignoring the huge cost in time and money for the bureacracy. Or maybe the judge was just high on something... who knows. Sigh.
