Most people don't get enough sleep. Since I've been unemployed, though, the 8 hour sleep night has done a number on me. Hell, it's bad for my health - mental health, that is. I have the most bizarre dreams. Exhibit A:
I invented a new drink - the "Hollywood." White wine served in a martini glass, garnished with a whole black olive. Any takers? I thought not. I figure I had this dream for one of two (or both) reasons: another example of my disgust for Hollywood and its denizens, or a subconscious memory about this party I was at where this girl had a martini with something around 3 green olives in it. I took a sip of it and it basically tasted like 90% olive juice. yum.
I had some other strange dreams last night, but luckily I don't remember.
Onto the non-dream related:
I was at a mexican food shop after cashing my check (thanks tax payers) and a typical desert rat walks in, but he's wearing a Minor Threat shirt, so I'm thinking, ALRIGHT! Then I noticed his really bad tattoos - on the scalp of his shaved head, arms, and legs. Most of the typical lame stuff...devils, skulls, unicorns. But on his leg was a swastika tattoo. First of all, it's on your leg - that's pretty easily fuckin concealed if you just wear long pants. But besides that, it led me to thinking, why is he in a Mexican food shop? Why support this minority business? I mean, sure, you go to Subway, you're served by a mexican - it's unavoidable. But to actively go into a restaurant that says "MEXICAN FOOD" and support it? I'm not saying he's right, I'm just saying, if you're going to pick a lifestyle choice, at least live by it. It's like vegans wearing leather. I guess it's the same sort of person who gets swastika tattoos and then wears a Minor Threat t-shirt.
