A bum walks into El Tapatio and says to the cashier "My, you certainly look good in that skirt!"
She laughs, probably nervously, and says "Thank you."
An awkward moment of silence, and then he continues "I'm gonna go work so I can get some money to buy food!"
She didn't hear, "What?"
He repeats, "I SAID I'M GOING TO GO WORK SO I CAN GET SOME MONEY TO BUY FOOD!"
In response, she offers, "Well..what do you want?"
"I'm going to go work so I can get some money to buy food."
He storms out of the taco shop.
One wonders how often he uses this line, and if it ever works.
After that, an X concert. Punk rockers don't age very well physically, but I believe the sound was true to form. Thankfully the very best songs were played at the beginning, before the alcohol and mosh pit fully set in.
