“Anyone we know?”
D glanced at him, “My grandfather.”
“What the fuck does he want?”
“He wishes to see me.”
“I don’t trust him,” Leon snarled. “The bastard spied on you like some stalker for years.”
“It wasn’t like that,” D argued, “He was just keeping an eye on me.”
D touched his cheek, beseechingly. “He is the only family I have left, Detective. Try to understand.”
“I do understand. But I still don’t like him.”
D sighed, unhappily, “The feeling is mutual, believe me.”
