“Dean, what did you just do?” Sam hissed, as Castiel pushed up from the table and made his way over to the busty brunette by the bar that had been eying them all evening.
“Relax,” Dean chuckled. “I just gave our little angel friend a few pointers on how to pick up a chick.”
“You what? Dean, he’s an angel!”
“Yeah, so? Did you see the way he kissed Meg?” He shuddered. “If you ask me, it’s high time he got a little something-something. if you know what I mean.”
“Dude, I don’t know how we’re even related,” Sam sighed and shook his head. “What pick up line did you give him?”
“A real cheese ball,” Dean grinned. “Maybe you’re tried it yourself: ‘If I followed you home, would you keep me’ ”
Sam looked mortified, “You didn’t.”
Dean’s grin became even wider as he followed Castiel’s path toward the hottie. “Yeah, I did. This is gonna be epic.”
Castiel glanced back at them and Dean gave him a thumbs-up gesture. Licking his lips nervously, he spoke to the woman, his expression both anxious and sincere at the same time.
“Here it comes!” Dean rubbed his hands together gleefully. “Twenty bucks says he’s gonna get slapped.”
“You’re on.”
Both brothers fished out money from their wallets and laid it on the table then sat back to watch the show.
The woman smiled, laughed… then stood up and, taking Cas by arm, led him toward the exit. Castiel shot them a panicked glance before they lost sight of him in the milling crowd.
Dean stared after them, jaw hanging open. “Dude… No way. That hot chick actually fell for it?”
Chuckling, Sam pocketed the two twenties and tucked them away into his wallet. “Look’s like the next round is on you, man.”
