Come on and wake up!
It's amazing and completely sucky how things can change so rapidly in the course of a week or so. I'm left standing here wondering what the fuck just happened amidst pools of deep regret and confusion.
I woke up this morning just in time to catch an episode of Mister Rogers, which always gets me a little misty-eyed and hopeful. I know this probably sounds weird, but I always had this fanciful notion that my family would move to Pittsburgh and I'd get to be his neighbor for real. What an amazing person to have as your neighbor! So honest, so pure, so unwavering, so loving.
I'm off from work today and tomorrow with nothing to do, so if any of y'all want to kick it, by all means let's do this! I'm thinking a bowling excursion might be in order, but I'm open to ideas and whatnot. In the meantime, I'm going to get back at prying these fucking tunnel vision goggles off my head that have gotten me into so much trouble recently.
