a few incredibly obvious things...
...that i have only just learned.
1) strangely, spending a lot of time/effort making other people happy has little to no effect on your own happiness
2) strangely, you cannot treat yourself like a robot and then expect to have the life of a person
3) and strangely, doing the things that make the most objective sense tends to lead to a very unbeautiful life
