The Lion King

Last night I saw the Lion King musical at the Orpheum Theatre with Derrick (and his mother and her friend). I had heard good things about the musical, but I was even more impressed than I expected. Although the story is rather simple, the production was very enjoyable

Agreed on the show, which I saw here a couple months ago - I thought the material itself was just average (the actual writing and songs) but that the puppetry and sets were amazing, and it was very well performed. Definitely enjoyable.
