A good start
Today was the first of two major demos I am part of this month. We just wrapped up with Paul Otellini (COO of Intel). In the beginning he was a little skeptical of the overal project (Public Health for the Internet), but by the end he was extremeley excited and indirectly cited that my technology (PIER) was one of key and exciting parts.
However, the hard demo comes next week, when the CTO of Intel, Pat Gelsinger, visits the lab. Unlike Otellini who is business oriented (he does have a ugrad degree in rhetoric from Cal), Gelsinger is very technical and has been known to be 'intense'.
Oh well, on to the rest of my day.
Update: 10:50AM, I just found out the Gelsinger visit has been indefinitely postponed. That should free up some time :-)
