Long time no update...

I realize it's been a while since I wrote in this thing. Some people have even asked me if I got rid of my journal. Oops.

Truth is, I've been busy during the end of May and the month of June so far. I've graduated, moved into a new apartment on the East Side of Providence, been tutoring Jon in calculus, and generally been greatly enjoying the fact that he's my boyfriend and spending a lot of time with him (usually doing math problems!). I'm almost completely settled into my new room, I love the kitchen here and I also love my new roomies. I'm leaving on Thursday afternoon to go to Florida with Aunt Pam and Uncle Jerry; we'll be there for 10 days staying in their condo in West Palm Beach. I let myself get a little sunburned yesterday at a cookout we had at Dad's house...hopefully it will get my skin in the mindset of "get tan, don't burn" when it realizes that New England sun is to Florida sun as a firecracker is to C4. When I last vacationed, it was to Mexico and I had just turned 16. My mom was freaking out hardcore that I was going to come back home with skin cancer. I didn't get a single sunburn the whole 2 weeks we were there, so I'm hoping I can pull it off again this time. We're gonna have a blast. There'll be walks on the boardwalk, shopping, great food, playing cards, beach, swimming, tanning, and lots of drinking probably! Really looking forward to this. I'll miss Jon, of course, but I need a vacation dammit! I deserve some rest after 5 years of college. And no, France doesn't entirely count because I was working full time.

There's really not that much else happening. I got my car trunk lock fixed, only to look inside and find...nothing at all. My bowling ball, old tennis racquet, golf clubs, and other less valuable items all got stolen from inside. Fuckers. However, as Jon was so quick (and right!) to point out, Rob's old rollerblades were in there still, and they got taken too. hehehe...how's that for a bright side? =oP

I guess I should take a drive over to the old house and take the rest of my stuff out of the upstairs...and maybe leave a note (?) asking to get my security deposit back from them. I feel so bad though...me leaving the house, unencouraged, and then asking the other 4 housemates, who now have to pay higher rent, for $50 each. Oh well...it's my money and I didn't do a damn thing to endanger the security of that house.

Aight. I'm outta here. Shower time.
Peace.
