CIY

hey guys. i am at CIY right now in the student union with katie. the student union is so stinkin' huge and modern. it is nice. our dorm rooms are okay. the shower is kinda small, but it's all good. so far the experience has been okay and i feel i have grown closer to everyone who went. today i attended a class on all the "isms". i think i would've enjoyed it more if i wasn't so sleepy. on another note, i have grown appreciation for certain people with whom i normally take for granted. so praise God for that. i also had a time of confession with sarah and it really helped me out and encouraged me. so praise God for that as well. i also picked up some stuff for mandy. :) i just ask that you would pray for the group and for me. thank you! i miss you guys! see you on saturday. oh yeah me and sarah are in daniel and eric's d-group. it was even unintentional. go figure. i forgot to ask for prayer for safe travel and to move in our hearts the rest of week.

my roommate e-mailed me back. i don't think we will be able to talk on the phone before we have to actually be at school. and i have no clue when i will be able to talk to carol stuart and have my books come in on time. cause i haven't ordered them. just pray that this situation will work out. and pray that God will bless kendal (my roommate) and our future friendship and living situation. i am kinda nervous and excited about school at the same time and i ask that you would pray for me about peace and trust in the Lord. thank you so much.
