Today: yea so um after spending the past six hours in an uncomfortable chair in an uncomfortable building learning things i already know. i come home only to find ::gasp:: a driving citation!! yes for a red light that i clearly didnt run considering in the pictures taken 1.) my brakes were on... hmm i wonder why they would be on if i was running the red light? 2.) the distance traveled inbetween pictures was only a few feet. and 3.) there are skid marks aligned with my tires showing that i had clearly intended and had stopped at the red light. but honestly that is the worst system i have ever seen if you cross the red light marker (the large white stripe across the intersection) you get your picture taken and a seventy five dollar citation. i got one before and know why because after coming to a complete stop a few feet behind the red light marker, i inched up and passed through the red light marker. therefore i got pictures taken and a fine sent to my house. last time i went to court and got cleared. but last time the court wasnt in towson. after i dropped off emily a few weekends ago i came out of her neighborhood onto a one way road. so then i had to look for a place to do a U turn. and so while looking for a place to turn around i look and theres a red light. so guess what? yes i stop. which as i said before is clearly proven in the pictures. but now my mom says to just pay the $75 dollar fine. her reasoning behind this is that "its not worth the $20 dollars in gas to drive to the court house." hmmm thats good reasoning... ill pay $75 just so i can save $20 in gas. real smart. so now since i "directly defied" her by driving MY car all the way to towson i am not allowed to drive anywhere for the next two weeks. hmm so you are going to take away MY keys to MY car just so that you can drive it when the intrepid is out of gas wich means you will be driving on MY gas which i paid for with MY money. yea i think not. and even better now is the fact that i cant drive up to bender to get new strings for my new guitar, which means i wont be playing it for the next two weeks. yea what a load of bullshit.
