there wasn't any cat food and the cat got angry and growled at me and went outside and came back a bit later with a protest mouse. and so i tried to get her to leave the house with the mouse but she kept growling when i picked her up, thus dropping said mouse. and so i tried to shoo her out by closing all the doors and i had her on the home stretch in the passage, but she let out an extra-large growl and dropped the mouse and it ran away. the upshot of all this is: i can't put my feet on the floor or the mouse will run up my trouserleg and make a nest in my chacha.

in other news, i bought four cds today, and one of them was nick cave b-sides and rarities, so it's really like six. sweet.
