Sorry for the late reply.

Yes I was/still I'm very unhappy with the whole Sam/Amelia soap opera story-line. I'm sorry Amelia fans but she is a very unlikeable character. Yes I know she had her reasons but she's just awful. I really did try and like her but I can't. And where supposed to believe Sam loved her as much as Jess, hell no!!! She will NEVER be close to Jessica. Also Sam left her in the middle of the night?! As that been explained yet?!

So true about caring too much about the ratings hon, that's why we get that awkward "fan-service" moments. Though for me the worst was season 6 for this. Cas and Dean couldn't have one bloody scene with out it. >=/

The start of this season as been such a let down but the last few episodes have been great. True it doesn't sit 100% right that Sam and Dean are fine after 10 ep's of fighting etc. It's just been so painful to watch the boy's so out of touch with each-other, it's just great that their getting on now.

Me personally, I would like the show to end at 10 seasons. But sometimes it is quality over quantity. =/

Sorry if this is all over the place or if I have missed anything, I'm half asleep here!! XD

No, they never sold Amelia as a character or Sam's relationship with her. Makes me wonder if that's because Jared doesn't want to do romantic scenes now he's married etc but, in that case, why write a love interest in the first place? To me, the first episode clearly implied that Sam left quietly in the middle of the night because he'd just got Dean's call, so the later scene where she found him packing - and all the stuff about her husband coming back just contradicted that. None of it scanned. None of it made sense.

I'm always behind the times though. Everyone Hates Hitler doesn't air here until Monday. Maybe I'll feel better after. I usually like Ben Edlund's episodes.

Sorry this is late but I had know idea you commented!! Your message didn't come up in my in box. O-o

That's a good point, maybe he doesn't feel comfortable doing them now his married. There was no point for the Amelia thing at all. Though a few fan's think she will end up pregnant or something....hell no.

Oh right see I only seen clips of the first episode so missed a few scenes.

I really enjoyed it, so hope you do too. ^_______^

I watched it last night, and I did enjoy it. Not convinced the bat cave is the new home from home it promises to be, tho. Dean listening to 40s band music and drinking whiskey out of crystal while the Impala languishes neglected outside? That just aint right o_O

Well they might get rid of it like Bobby's, who knows. But when I read other reviews and their like "Aww now the boy's finally have a home." WTF!?, like Chuck said "their where never homeless." ;)

Glad you enjoyed it. What did you think of the Golem and Aaron? I would really like if they came back again.

I think it might be significant that practically the first thing Henry did was smash and invade the Impala, and the Impala got smashed again in the Golem episode. I'm not convinced about this gift horse. I think the boys should be looking for teeth.

I enjoyed the Golem and Aaron as a one off, but I'm not looking for them to come back again. Which isn't to say it won't happen, but I'd like to see a return to episodes that connect to real lives and real people. I'm starting to realize that's what's missing from this season, and that's why it all feels so unreal. On the whole, all the supernatural stuff is happening to individuals in isolation from any normal life activity, so it lacks immediacy and relevance. Maybe that's the point. Maybe the bat cave is another example of Sam and Dean becoming disconnected from the common people they used to help: a sort of underground inversion of the ivory tower.
