Hold, Sasuke/Naruto
"Take it." There was an outstretched arm. In hand, held tightly between long pale fingers, was a small cell phone. The response was a sun-kissed hand that reached out-only to shove the phone into the chest of the pale armed owner; a refusal of the offer.
"You know how I feel about technology. Keep the phone, I don’t need it." Two tanned arms crossed.
"Hn. I bought you a present. Accept it." The elegant alabaster hand presented the device.
Once more the hand was pushed away. "Nuh uh. I am perfectly fine with using a pay phone, or the phone at work. Why did you buy me the phone anyways, I don't need it."
"You don’t even use a car. The phone isn’t that big of a deal."
"Sasuke! Don’t even get me started on cars, you know how much they affect our environment! You should know how I feel about these things…or have you just not been listening to everything I’ve been saying for the past ten years?"
Silence. A glare as golden fingers tap against the side of the bare still crossed arm.
A sigh. "You know I do…but." There’s a pause.
A growl. "Spit it out, honey."
"I want to be able to-" Deep breath. "-hear your voice..."
"You what?" There is a hint of humor laced within the tone.
"Don’t make me say it again," is immediately barked in response.
Tanned arms slip undone and one reaches out to take the phone from between the pale fingers-the other grabs a handful of shirt and pulls. Two chests meet.
"You better teach me how to work this contraption, so I can interrupt those delightful board meetings you have so often. You’d like that, wouldn’t-" Kiss. "-you?"
"Not if you’re going to tell me about some stupid tree you were hugging."
There was another laugh, light and carefree. Both arms, dark and light, make their way to trap two warm bodies in between. "What if it’s not some tree I’m hugging."
A pair of arms possessively squeezed tighter. "It better not be something other than a tree."
A similar tight embrace was in response as the next words were spoken. "It’s just you and the trees Sasuke, just you and the trees."
