Life
I haven't posted since the wedding, so I figured I should get on that. It would have been a good idea to post closer to the wedding because the buzz is starting to wear off, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I'm much more at ease now that life is starting to feel normal again. I really wish the marriage certificate would come...someone told me it takes about two weeks and it's been two and a half now. I don't feel officially married because my name and address haven't been changed.
The wedding was so great. Everyone looked amazing and seemed to enjoy the night. Things seemed a little crunched at the beginning of the reception since the bridal party got there a little late, but after it started to slow down it was so much fun! And what people say about it going by quickly is true, but I was happy with every aspect of the night so much so that it was okay that it was time for it to be over. I'm still anxiously waiting for the pictures to be posted. The slideshow was a little tease and now I want to see them all!
The honeymoon was way cool. Scotland is not your typical honeymoon spot, but it was what we wanted. Cool scenery and history and the weather was great for us! Kevin not only drove a car on the other side of the road, but we also took a motorcycle ride! Better him driving than me...
So now we're enjoying our recent wedding purchases, such as our big screen and Playstation 3 (yay guitar hero!). We'll be flying into NY to pick up a car as well (Saab 9-5, it's super nice!). Writing thank you cards and finding places for all of my crap is also taking up a big chunk of our lives. I can't wait to be completely settled!
I don't start work until the fall, so this summer is going to be awesome! Lots of beach time, sleeping in, and enjoying life!
