Things, stuff...
I am now officially a B.S.W.! Graduation was really nice, though long as expected. We had a get together at my house afterwards with my parents and grandparents, Kevin, and his parents. It was a generally pleasant time with yummy food! It's weird that I won't be going back to school in the fall, but I'm ready for new things. The whole graduating thing hasn't completely sunk in yet. I know I get to see all my social work people at the wedding, so I didn't have to say goodbye.
I had a job interview today for a temporary position as an elementary school Home/School Advisor. It's only a three month position, but it would be good to get practice (and not as an intern) for future job openings. I've applied to a few other agencies, but I haven't heard back. It's kind of stressful to know that I am responsible for paying for everything myself now, but of course I have Kevin as back up. It would be nice to have a job lined up so I know I will be able to have a source of income!
The wedding is now less than 2 weeks away! We are getting the favors and bridal party gifts together as well as working on the program layout. We still haven't gotten all of the RSVPs back, but we have to tell the hall the final count this week so I hope people get back to us!
