First off, let me say that I absolutely adore you for having Deanna like porn and burgers and pie. Because girl!Dean is still Dean. This is absolutely adorable. You managed to make Deanna both a girl and yet still Dean in a completely non-cliched way. You didn't force her into all the stereotypes or completely change her personality but changed little, subtle things that would be different such as John giving Sam a gun instead of Dean and the dynamic between Sam and Deanna being slightly different. Also, your Cas is spot on.

“You don’t have anything to make up for, though.”

Best line ever. Just so adorably Cas.

I was a bit worried about how I wrote Deanna. It's hard to find a way to make her fem-Dean without just writing Dean and then changing all the 'he's to 'she's, but I'm glad it worked out!

It's one of the best gender-bending fics I've come across (oh, how I like all the similarities and subtle differences between Dean and Deanna), and your Cas voice is, as usual, spot-on.

Also, this: in all the time Deanna has known him, Castiel has never before moved because he could, but always because he should. Great, great observation, oh yes.

It was not her fault. Anyways, knowing the lonely road they travel, Sam should have installed better anti-virus software. A girl has needs.

Castiel turns the knob and opens the door, then pauses again, one foot on the threshold.

“Is there a... quick way to remove make-up?” he asks, the back of his neck flushed bright red.

Deanna grins.

And I think you captured female Dean perfectly. The way she is both female and tries to fit in but is ultimately Dean in the end.

Lol, I'm glad you enjoyed! I wasn't sure if I was able to make the fic humorous since I've never really written a light fic (and this is the lightest yet, I think). And yes, Dean(na) can be no one but Dean(na), and (s)he's awesome as is!

This is fantastic. i admire Deanna's restraint. There were at least three instances where, were it me, I'd just kiss the angel silly for being so unbearably adorable.

It was also very real and I could totally see it happening.

I'm glad you enjoyed the lipstick scene! That was meant to be the sort of crowning moment of the fic cause it's where Deanna really does something absolutely feminine that Dean would never do, but she does it in a (hopefully) Dean-ish way. I didn't really know you had a thing for cross-dressing, but lucky me (and you)! And yes, Cas must be grumpy, always.

I haven't actually seen this Misha zebra head thing, but the description of the horse head mask is actually based off a real-life product. If you search on google "horse head mask" you'll see it. I was inspired by my friend who owns one, :P

I've only ever seen the Stargate movie, but yessss, sci-fi. Love that stuff. And if it's this common interest that brings you to me, than I will forever love it a hundred times more!
