almost a month?
has it been that long? geez, what have i been doing? not a lot, considering. working like crazy. i still have two days left to work this week, but only 11 hours left before i go overtime, which they will NOT allow. they send you home. but there's no one to cover for me if i get sent home, so i wonder what they'll do? payday tomorrow, plus a $30 bonus for dematting a dog for 1 1/2 hours. it so better be worth it!
so i was all bummed out that i won't get to go camping this weekend. but i called my friend virginia on her birthday, which is an annual event. if we don't get to talk to each other the whole rest of the year, we at least talk on her birthday. well, turns out she's been trying to get ahold of me but had the wrong phone number. i was supposed to be in her wedding this year, though she wasn't sure when it was going to be. so on her bday i talked to her and she says, oh btw, i'm getting married saturday. i'm like, oh man, i have to work, thinking the wedding is at noon or something. the wedding's not till 5 and the reception's not till 7. so i can totally make it! woohoo! so excited. i was afraid i'd missed her wedding since we hadn't talked, but i just made it! plus, with the overtime deal at work, i might get out early enough to make it to both the wedding and the reception. yay! i guess that seems weird to some people that virginia and i don't talk but once or twice a year, but we both lead very uneventful lives, aside from the wedding. so not much to talk about! but i'm super psyched.
well, i'm on the phone with lil, so i'm gone.
